Disappointed with the food. I've been eating Shanghai for over 40 years & have enjoyed it. Seems they're cutting corners. Soo Guy gravy was so watery, chicken was super greasy, chicken balls were dry & crunchy (looked like they were frozen).

As always, the food was delicious. Curry could have had a little more heat. We did make the request, however didn”t notice a difference. We have been ordering from Shanghai for almost 40 years and have never been disappointed.

No fortune cookies, asked for extra soya sauce didn’t get any, beef and tomato was all tomato and too tangy was not good. Ordered rice bc we didn’t know it came with any.

Mostly good. The best chicken balls I have yet to find in London. The chop suey needs more vegetables - it is not enjoyable when about 99% sprouts. Would order from Shanghai again.

When I called the restaurant to see when my order would be coming they stated it just left. They are two blocks down the road. It took over 45 minutes to receive it. The food was almost cold and had to warm it up. Won't do thatt again.

Although the food was very good, as always, this is the second order in a row that the sweet and sour sauce was not included with the order - which was specifically ordered with the chicken balls. Very disappointing. I guess from now on I have to specify when I place the order to include it.

Best Chinese I've ever had in London. Fried dishes are crispy, love their sauces. The rice is a little oily, but is still good. Always had great service too.
