I've ordered from Hong Hing for quite awhile. However, their new $15 minimum subtotal for delivery is too high for a single senior citizen. I think a $12 minimum would be more reasonable. I will have to cut down on my ordering for this reason. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I regularly order delivery from Hong Hing. The orders are always accurate and delivery is friendly. It's a typical takeout place, so don't expect anything fancy, but all things considered, I think this is the best takeout Chinese in Wilmington that delivers to Elsmere/Newport. We've had a number of different items from here, and I would recommend their Roast Pork Lo Mein, Szechuan Shrimp, and Lake Tung Ting Shrimp (if you are going for something light). The Lemon Chicken I had last time was a bit bland but not terrible. Boyfriend says the steamed dumplings are a bit rubbery. That being said, most of the things we've ordered have been very high quality for a takeout place. Quality chicken and shrimp are used in their food--their shrimp are huge and cooked perfectly every time. Thanks Hong Hing!

Teriyaki chicken dropped from 4 per order to 2? The order of general tso's chicken was half rice plus a whole container of rice. Delivery was a bit long as well. Usually very happy with food and service, but this was a low point.

Delivery took a minute and I am like 5 minutes walk from the place, should have walked. Then the guy wants me to come down and into my driveway in the rain to get my food. Food was good though, General Tso's Chicken wasn't slimy, was crispy/crunchy, good portions, the rice was fresh, egg roll was a lil tough though, that friend feline hide get's like that though, lol
