It was our first visit to Lu's Kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was tasty but the lo mein and chicken fingers really stood apart from the competition in the area. The chicken teriyaki seemed to be chicken thighs, a bit unusual and not customary, but they were moist, tender and delightful. The rice was average so next time we'll go with the smaller size. Having a size option was a nice benefit that most Chinese restaurants do not offer so it was nice to get smaller versions and it gave us the opportunity to try more items on their menu and experience a variety. Lastly, the only complaint is that we received a "stray staple" in our chicken teriyaki order (as this was the only box left open inside the paper bag) and it appears that when the person who stapled the receipt to the take out bag, must of misfired a stray staple into our food. Fortunately, my son knew there was something foreign in his mouth before he swallowed it and it was easily identifiable. Other than that mishap, the food was very good and we will return and try more items on their menu.
