We've been generally disappointed with choices for Asian food available in Campbell County. New Garden had been an exception, for most of the Chinese and Thai choices we've ordered previously. This time, however, we ventured into the Japanese menu. Hibachi meals were unlike anything we've ever had from any other restaurant--not untasty, but simply strangely prepared and not what was expected. The sushi smelled as if the fish was not fresh,

Literally the best we've ever had. We ate so much that our stomachs ache and yet we still have a TON of food left over. General Tso was ACTUALLY spicy.

I always love the hot and sour soup and appreciate that spicy dishes actually have a touch of heat without having to beg. Tonight I tried a pork dish and the pork was DELICIOUS...tender, porky...better than any other Chinese restaurant I've tried.

I'm really disappointed usually the store is a 4 or 5 star deal. Today though something is wrong. Our eggdrop soup tasted like water. The hot and sour soup wasn't hot or sour. My General Tso's chicken appears to just be sweet and sour chicken.

Food was good, order was incorrect. I ordered and paid for 2 orders of egg rolls, 2 each per order for a total of 4. I received only 1 order, total of 2. Annoying but will not keep me from returning.

First time trying this restaurant. Quality of the food was good. The wonton soup had more of a miso flavor than the chicken flavor I'm used to, but it was still good. Only item I was disappointed with was the fried noodles that came with the soup (odd texture) but they were a side item so I don't think it matters much. If you're in the area and want some Chinese food, New Garden is worth checking out.
