Our orders are always accurate and arrive to our door within the time promised - often earlier. Food is consistently delicious.

Overall excellent quality. Only minor complaint, the General Tsos Chicken was a bit spicy despite a request to make it as mild as could be. Everything quite delicious overall!

It was sketchy when a lady gave me a call after I had ordered because she wondered why my billing address was different from my delivery address. But the man who delivered my food was very polite. 4⭐️

Ready on time, as ordered, as expected, except the egg roll had too much oil remaining in it.

Still one of the best and most authentic Sichuan place in the DC area. Skip the American menu and order from the Home Style entries. Try the Braised Beef with Vegetable (shui zhu niu, sizzling with numbing spice). Or the Twice Cooked Pork (Hunan dish that here isn't just pork vegetables in a brown sauce like most "Hunan" restaurants in the U.S). If you want something less spicy, try the Shredded Pork with dried Tofu. A favorite disk, but one that has to be ordered in the restaurant (it looses a lot when delivered) is the Scallion Fried Fish. I've never seen it like this anywhere else.

Delivered order as specified, arrived earlier than promised, hot and in good quality containers, and food is good quality, fish tastes fresh, beef lean and tender. My overall complaint about the food is that, while I order off the Szechuan menu (not the Chinese-American menu) and check the most spicy category, it still tends to be milder than we want.

Honestly the best for our area. If you haven't tried the lamb in sizzling pot you're really missing something. We always order for pick up and doing it on line is easier for us than calling it in. This last time we got the wrong soup but at $1.85 per order we're not fussing.

The intestines in sizzling pot is the dopest shit on this menu. Everytime I am face-deep in some bitch's ass I get hungry and order myself some sizzling pot intestines from my yellow niggas at the China star. I just wish these fools would drop some eating utensils in the bag. Last time I had to eat that shit from a cup.

I always enjoy the food. But every time some goes wrong with the soup - This time the soup was super expensive, until somebody from the kitchen ask me if $1.79 was OK. and I told them yes - Now I would like to have the difference since I pay more than $7.00. Thank you for your Attention!

China Star is still good, but not nearly as good as when it was run by Peter Chang. Certain dishes like dreid fried green beans and szechuan chili fish used to be much more flavorful with unique spices. Now they taste more bland. Again, still better than most Chinese restaurants but much worse than it used to be. Beef turnip soup is too tendony.

Service was good. Beef w/ Broccoli needed more spice/season, Szechuan Shrimp needed more than carrots and onions (lots of veg, sparse on Shrimp), but soup and egg roll was as expected. :)

Seem to have purchased from the native Chinese menu rather than American. "Triple Delight" not at all expected: with shrimp, squid, and fish cake and very liquid broth. Taste OK, but I am not a fish cake fan. Tossed it. Would try again

Best Chinese food in Fairfax! We love this place, and the Chili Diced Tofu is a hit for vegetarians and omnivores alike. (I work with a lot of international students from China, and this is where they choose to come for hometown food. You know that means it's as authentic as it can be in the United States!)
