Hunan Star

After placing my order the restaurant called me to tell me the prices changed and my order would be 28.03 instead of 25 whatever. I said ok. When the delivery guy came he said it was 29 dollars. I gave him 30 and he refused to give me change.

Very good. I've struggled to find good Chinese food in this neighborhood since moving here 4 years ago.

I didn't care for the pu pu platter everything tasted greasy and the ribs were hard. I eat from here often and I usually enjoy their food but I won't order that again.

We've eaten at the restaurant for years and the food was always great. My fear was that it wouldn't be the same because the food wouldn't be as hot. I was wrong. It was just as hot as it would of been at the table in the restaurant. Good safe bet!

I frequently order from this restaurant. The delivery is always on time and the food is delicious. This time, one of the items I ordered was missing. It's never happened in the past, however and since I did not check before the delivery person left or called the restaurant to let them know, I am not going to hold it against them.

Fast delivery. The shrimp with cashew nuts is basically just shrimp with a ton of celery and some Cashews sprinkles on top. very weird.

Ordered on a snowy day when I didn't want to go out. Quick delivery, order correct, arrived hot, coupon items included and everything delicious. Will definitely order again and recommend

We order from Hunan Star on a fairly regular basis. Delivery is always quick, drivers are always courteous, food is always fresh. This order, my only complaint is the amount and size of the vegetables. Vegetable pieces were way too large (peppers , onions, and cabbage) and the ratio of vegetables to meat was WAY off. I probably have enough of those vegetables from 3 of the dishes to make a medium size pot of soup, hahahaha. The shrimp roll was not as good as I hoped also. The eggroll wrapper appeared doubled, and there were only 2 very small shrimp inside. The flavor of everything, though, was delicious. Hopefully, this was a onetime fluke. No complaints for General Tso's chicken (2 orders), except about the vegetables above; Beef Lo Mein was good; Shredded Beef Szechuan was good (giant vegetables again, proportions off); no complaints about the eggrolls from other household members; the Wonton soup is always, and was, crammed full of tender well stuffed dumplings in a delicious broth (my favorite...can you tell? heeheehee). Always happy (mostly) ordering from Hunan Star. Try them! :D
