I haven't ordered from Lin's Garden in a while and I was disappointed with my dish, homestyle bean curd. It tasted like they have changed the sauce, maybe added artificial smoke flavor or something? It did not taste good, odd-tasting and artificial- tasting in what used to be my favorite dish. Feh. On the good side, the rest of the ingredients are good - lots of fresh vegetables and good tofu, but the sauce really wrecks it. Also, I may be wrong but I think you also used to be able to get brown rice but that didn't seem to be available. The shrimp toast is still terrific. I also think that it's really chinzy that they don't include chopsticks and you have to order them extra for 80 cents if you want them! What??? I've never ordered Chinese food before where you didn't get chopsticks (or napkins by the way - do you have to ask?) or even a fortune cookie (LOL) ! On the positive side, the delivery was really fast and the food was hot. On the negative side, The main dish, which was not the lunch portion, was NOT a good value for the price, a very small container, can't imagine what the lunch-sized portion looks like and it wasn't cheap for a tofu dish. Between the food, delivery fee, tax and tip, a small, two-item lunch cost me almost $20. So not good value for the price, too bad because usually the food is very good.
