Need to work on tempura. They used to be good years ago(like 10+). Now is like hard, fried, too much crumbs. Instead of assorted vegetables, mainly yams;potatoes.

Sushi was mostly great! But the “spicy” Mayo was barely spicy at all which was disappointing. And the tuna in one roll was so cold it seemed just barely thawed. Overall good but with some issues.

I ordered from Nihon Kai a few times but didn't like my order this time. Ask for extra dressing for the salad, didn't get. The sashimi were thick and big pieces. I don't remember they were big and thick pieces. Overall, I didn't like my order this time. Hopefully, I will not be disappointed again; otherwise, I will go somewhere else.

Sashimi is really fresh and great portions! The combo roll platter is quite filling, with great portions in each individual piece of sushi
