The only reason I am giving this establishment 1 star is because I cannot give them 0 stars. They served me the wrong dish completely and then they lied to my face about it. Soprano's Pizza admitted to serving me old food and when I requested fresh food and/or a refund, they denied me. Granted, the man on the phone did apologize numerous times. I also understand their no refund policy. I do not understand how a restaurant admits to serving food that is not edible and how they refuse to rectify the situation. For context, I ordered onion rings. Whatever they brought me was totally inedible and did not resemble any onion ring I've ever had (it was actually calamari, which they also refuse to admit). When I called to ask for a refund or to have the food I actually ordered, the man on the phone became defensive and lied to me about the food that I clearly have in front of my face. Then he went on to explain how the onion rings are "old" and "nasty" and it "just looks like that". He also said they don't make the onion rings fresh (please know, that I do not care about that as a frozen onion ring is as good as anything else. However, I will not tolerate being lied to). He goes on to explain that what I was served was an "old" product that they do not even sell anymore. Excuse me? As if the lies and the admission of guilt weren't enough, I was also denied any customer service or solution regarding the situation. Please be aware as well, I do know that there is a no refund policy. But how does that apply to a situation that was totally the restaurant's fault? I also requested to be sent the apparent "good" onion rings they have and was denied that as well. I feel bad for the man, as he clearly did not understand what was going on and/or was repeating some lie a higher up told him before. Bottom line, beware of the onion rings..and customer service..and also be afraid that if this place completely ruins your dinner, they will do absolutely nothing to fix it.
