Kyoto Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

The Sushi is outstanding!! The soup wasn't very salty and there was no salt in the bag so my mother didn't care for it.

I placed an order to go. When I went to the restaurant I was told they were too busy for to-go orders. If your business isn’t going to accept to-go orders, then the service shouldn’t be available here

I specifically stated no sauce or sesame seeds on my salmon skin rolls (due to allergies). The salmon skin rolls contained both sesame seeds and sauce. I ordered my food prior to 6pm. It takes approximately 25 mins to drive from my home to the restaurant. Not only did I wait at least 5 minutes at the reception desk, I had to inquire about my order because no one approached me the entire time I stood at the podium. Then, my husband and I waited 20 minutes before leaving to get fresh air. We returned 20 minutes later, and our food was still not ready. We didn’t receive our food for another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, no other sushi restaurants were open in the hour, and our children had their hopes set on sushi. It was for this reason, and this reason alone we waited. I’ve ordered from Kyoto in the past, but this will be our last time. Customer service is terrible & customer consideration is non-existent.

Order had not been received when I showed up 40 minutes after ordering on the app. So they had to transfer order over when I got there. And then in transferring he mixed one item up. I think in the future, I will just call my order in directly.

The food was amazing. We love it an our two boys who are picky eater would definitely love to visit again.
