our first time ordering from Golden House and I was very pleased! The food tasted fresh, not greasy. The vegetable dumpings were great -- not to doughy as they often are. And the eggpland and garlic sauce was delicious!

Golden House has been a favorite for many years. In this order the fried dumplings were, if any, better than ever. The only dish that disappointed was the pineapple fried rice; while the pineapple and meat were great, the rice itself didn't have much flavor until I added soy sauce. Also I had scheduled the order for home delivery at 7 (the earliest we'd be ready to eat) but the order came at 6:30, so it had to spend some time in the warming drawer.

Actually couldn't get the Peking Duck so we ordered shrimp with pea pods and chicken moo goo gei pan. These were AMAZING, along with the eggplant. The sesame and lemon chicken are good but more conventional and breaded. The order arrived in good time, too.

We received our delivery within a timely manner. The food was good but neither the Hunan Chicken or Kung Pak Chicken had any spice to them at all. Next time instead of requesting mild, we will have to request hot. Otherwise the food tasted great and the portion size was great!!!!

I have been ordering from Golden House since 2001 and I have only had one bad experience! The food is pretty good for a carry out. The shrimp egg foo young, pan fried noodles and pineapple rice are my favs. However, the rolls (egg and spring) tend to be a little on the greasy side.

Overall service is good, food arrives correctly & in a decent amount of time, though sometimes special instructions I (no cutlery, different sauce, etc.) go unnoticed. I've also noticed that no matter what kind of chicken I order - sesame, General Tso's, kung pao - it all ends up tasting the same, just like sweet & sour sauce. Would love it if dishes tasted more like they are meant to.

Golden House is one of the best Chinese delivery places I've ever ordered from; the vegetarian dishes are especially good (I eat meat, but often get tofu instead). Fried veggie dumplings are way better than the pork. My one wish is that they would take it seriously when we ask for extra spicy; I'd rate their normal "Hot" option for spicy dishes near most restaurants' mild.

Most of the items on the Pu-Pu were overcooked. The Pad Thai was bland and not very authentic. The broccoli was outstanding.
